The Green New Deal Network comprises 14+ national organizations on our steering committee and 24+ state coalitions fighting for climate, care, jobs, and justice. We drove the fight to secure historic federal investments in climate solutions in 2022 and challenge the power of the fossil fuel industry.

As Chief of Strategy, I managed the Communications Director, Organizing Director, and Legislative & Political Director; led on re-designing and executing an $11M regranting program; contributed to strategic and fiscal planning processes as a member of the Executive Team; led on planning our first-ever convention of state and national partners; and more.

Ran volunteer teams that answered the campaign’s Twitter, email and Facebook inboxes, and live chats. Launched and managed live voting information hotlines. Check out my Medium post about how we read every single one of over 500,000 messages to the campaign and responded in a personalized way.

• Digital and distributed organizing:

  • August 2024: Acted as Distributed Director for a progressive issue campaign; delivered 90+ events in 30+ states in a matter of weeks in a quickly-changing environment.

  • 2024 election cycle: Client management for peer to peer texting vendor.

  • Fall 2023: Distributed organizing consultant for rapid-response issue campaign; created a help desk volunteer team to answer supporter inquiries, drafted emails and set up action pages in Every Action and New/Mode, supported mass call development and tech, and more.

• Event planning: Successfully planned two in-person work retreats in 2024 for a staff team of 35, managing vendors and contracts, supporting agenda planning, and more.

• Ghostwriting: I have helped tech CEOs, legislators, and nonprofit executive directors tell their stories and advocate for change in outlets including the New York Times, The Muse, Forbes, New York state newspapers, blogs and newsletters, and more.
